An organisation is only as good as its processes. To be able to make the necessary changes in an organisation, one needs to understand the key processes of the company. Fiona has undertaken process analysis in many organisations, most often when problems have arisen that need to be solved. 

 

Once understanding the end goals / objectives, Fiona interviews and consults with all stakeholders to understand where the pain points are as well as identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in order to recommended improvements.

 

When the recommendations have been signed off by the relevant change sponsor, Fiona works on a robust communication / change management plan to ensure stakeholder buy-in so that the proposed changes are not met with resistance. 

 

Production of process charts / training guides are distributed to support the change.

 

Implementation of the improvements or new processes are then effectively managed and executed for a period of time to ensure that the change occurs successfully.  Continuous monitoring and ongoing process review is key.

Process Analysis & Improvement

 

Business process improvement is a systematic approach to help an organisation optimise its underlying processes to achieve more efficient results.  The identification and analysis of existing processes needs to take place before recommendations and measures can be implemented to improve their business processes in order to meet new goals and objectives, for example - standardising ways of working, increasing profits and performance, reducing costs and accelerating schedules.
